Looking at the reference, I am interested in incorporating this man's broad cheekbones and flattened
head. These features both lend themselves to the facial structure of the animal and allow me to find a com-
mon point of morphology to anchor both the animal and human aspects of the face ( Figure 8-35 ). Areas of
interest are the broad, blunt cheekbones, the rounded shapes of the brows (which, while furrowed, do not
express anger due to their soft shape and angle), the broad upper lip, and the rounded chin.
