Many motherboards do not follow the industry-standard guidelines for front panel switch/LED
connections, and many use alternative designs, one of which is shown in
Figure 4.33
.

Some of Intel's older motherboards, as well as those made by other motherboard manufacturers, used
a single-row pin header connector for the front panel connections, as shown in
Figure 4.34
