cessing, or drying. Ripens in late mid-season to late season. The trees
are moderately vigorous, upright to somewhat spreading, and moder-
ately productive. Widely recommended.
Kuban Comet
Climate Zones: Zones 4-9
Notes: The medium-sized, orange to red fruits have tart flesh. Resists
cracking and ripens early. The trees are small and, reportedly, pro-
ductive and easy to grow. A Russian introduction that is adapted to
colder climates. Self-fruitful.
