Notes: The large, green, red-blushed to nearly red fruits have soft,
sweet, mild-flavored flesh. Ripens in mid-season. Resistant to fire
blight. A good pollinizing variety and requires cross-pollination.

Notes: A red-skinned strain of 'Bartlett'. Particularly recommended for
roadside stands and farmers' markets.
Seckel
Climate Zones: Zones 5-8
Notes: The small, round, brownish-golden, heavily russetted fruits
have excellent, very sweet flavor. Ripens late to very late. Sets heavy
crops. Resistant to fire blight. Requires cross-pollination. Do not pollin-
ate with 'Bartlett'.
Spalding
Climate Zones: Zones 5-9
Notes: The medium-sized, green fruits are crisp and ripen late. Resist-
ant to fire blight. A southern United States introduction that has proven
adaptable in the Pacific Northwest. Self-fruitful.
