The large, yellow, red-blushed fruits have a sweet, mild flavor.
Imported from Israel with 'Ein Shemer' in 1967. Fruits well in central
Florida, ripens in Gainesville in late June to early July. Pollinate with
'Dorsett Golden'.

Notes:
The medium-sized, greenish-yellow, orange-red-striped fruits
russet at maturity. The fruits are tart and suitable for fresh use and
cooking. Ripens about mid-August. Quickly loses flavor and texture if
left on the tree too long. Popular in southern coastal California. Some-
times reported to be self-fruitful but is only partially so. Pollinate with
another early to mid-season, low-chilling apple.
