'Fireside' has red-striped skin. 'Connell Red' is a red-color sport
of 'Fireside'; otherwise, the two varieties are the same. The large fruits
are aromatic with a distinctive flavor. Suitable for fresh use and pro-
cessing. Very popular with Minnesota commercial apple growers. Will
not pollinate one another.
