Real Coffee and Tea Café Boat Station 2 T 036 288
5340; map p.343. Real Coffee has moved back to the heart
of the action, a stone's throw from D'Mall, yet its second
floor location overlooking the beach is somehow removed
from the hubbub. The bamboo interior harks back to a
simpler time when this was the first “real” coffee (P80-
160) on the beach. Good breakfasts (P175-350), as well as
a great selection of teas (punchy ginger tea, P90) and
cookies (P25). Daily 7am-7pm.
Villas offers super-healthy dining in a wooden dining room
looking out onto dense tropical foliage. The menu, created
by a Swedish chef especially for the restaurant, includes
interesting starters such as wasabi salad (P170), main
courses like penne pasta with roasted vegetables (P260)
and pan-fried tofu with asparagus, Baguio beans and
peanut sauce (P260). Daily 7am-10pm.

/boracayresort; map p.338. The place to come for a
splurge, with sophisticated seafood dining from a lofty
perch overlooking two bays. Arrive for sunset drinks and
see if you can snag one of the wonderful outdoor cliff
perches before indulging in succulent wahoo, crispy fried
prawns and ube crème brûlée, along with good wines.
Expect to pay upwards of P2000 per person for a three-
course meal. Daily 11am-2pm & 5-9pm.
Steakhouse Boracay Boat Station 1 T 036 288 6102;
map p.343. Excellent steak and salad restaurant which
enjoys a great location looking out over the beach.
Imported steaks (P610-650) are the mainstay, but the
raclette (order one day in advance; P840) is also worth a
try. Daily 10am-11pm.
Tesebel's On the main road, just off Puka Beach; map
p.338. This long-standing restaurant is nothing fancy to look
at, but people go back for the delicious fresh seafood, which
includes garlic prawns with buttered honey (P175) and tangy
sinigang with the catch of the day. Head here for a lazy lunch
if you're in the Puka Beach area. Daily 6am-11pm.

.com.ph; map p.343. This popular Italian place offers
attractive alfresco dining under the palms. Pizzas (P390-
590) and pastas (P345-450) are reliably good, and coffee
and desserts are available from neighbouring Café del Sol .

Cyma D'Mall T 036 288 4283, W cymarestaurants.com;
map p.343. The owners may not be Greek, but Cyma serves
the best tzatziki (P150) in Boracay in a tiny but boldly
decorated restaurant. Delicious horiatiki (Greek salad;
P265), chicken souvlaki (P365) and baklava (P200) are also
on the menu, and it's worth checking the specials board.

Manana Next to Starbucks between boat stations 1
and 2 T 036 288 5405; map p.343. This lively Mexican
restaurant serves tasty fajitas (P363), enchiladas and
chimichangas (P352-418), which can be enjoyed in the
brightly decorated interior or on tables out on the beach to
the backbeat of Latino tunes. A giant frozen mango daiquiri
(P148) rounds the meal off perfectly. Daily 10am-10pm.
True Food Restaurant Next door to Mango-Ray
Resort, a short walk south of D'Mall T 036 288 3142;
map p.343. Tastefully styled restaurant where delicious
Indian meals can be enjoyed sitting on cushions around a
low table. There are dishes from all over the subcontinent
including aloo jeera , biriani, pakora (P230) and masala
dosa (P370), and the menu also extends to North Africa
with its couscous offerings. Meals are nicely rounded off
with a good old-fashioned cup of Indian chai. Daily
noon-10.30pm.
Pizzeria da Mario At the southern end of White
Beach T 036 288 3601; map p.343. Thin-crust pizza
(P200), pasta and risotto, all cooked to perfection by the
Italian owner and served in simple surrounds with
gorgeous views over the beach. Daily 7am-11pm.
Prana Mandala Spa & Villas, at the southern end of
the main road T 036 288 5858; map p.338. This classy
vegetarian restaurant at the upmarket Mandala Spa &
DRINKING AND NIGHTLIFE
Nightlife in Boracay starts with drinks at sunset and continues all night. Hardcore partiers don't even warm up until
midnight, with many dancing and drinking until sunrise. As well as the listings below there are countless other options
which range from upscale resort bars to beach shacks.

Red Pirates Pub South end of White Beach beyond
Boat Station 3 T 036 288 5767; map p.338. Bare feet
and sarongs are the order of the evening at this chilled-out
little beach club far from the madding crowd. The music
ranges from reggae to chill-out to tribal, ethnic and
acoustic sounds. The owner, Captain Joey, has a sailing boat
and offers sunset cruises, adventure tours and snorkelling
trips around the island. Daily 10am-4am.
BARS
Bom Bom Bar Right on the beach, 100m north of
D'Mall; map p.343. An atmospheric little chilled-out
beach hut, with seats on the sand where you can listen to
local musicians come together for jam sessions on native
instruments. Daily 8am-1am.
