in the fruit and veg market, serving all sorts of health foods

The Italian food here is authentic
and tasty, but it's the atmosphere that will really captivate
your senses, surrounded by the enchanting ruins of the
Ledesma sugar hacienda (see p.309). As well as the
obligatory pizza and pasta dishes (P220-400), there's
osso
buco
and
salsiccia in padella
(Italian sausages in a tomato-
based sauce; both P350), and the dessert line-up includes
delicious
zuppa inglese
(P150). It's easiest to get here and
back by taxi (P250-300 including waiting time).

draw in the local crowds with its distinctive flavours and

in Singcang is cited as the city's nightlife district, but while there are a few regular
bars and clubs, in truth many of the places here are girlie bars catering to an exclusively male crowd. In addition to the
