ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
MOALBOAL
By bus
A number of bus companies, including Ceres
Liner (
T
032 345 8650), run regular services to Moalboal
town from Cebu City's Southern bus terminal (3hr), but
make sure the driver knows where you want to get off,
as most buses continue beyond Moalboal. Moalboal
proper is on the road that follows the coast; Panagsama
Beach is a P100 tricycle ride from the point on the main
road where buses drop passengers. Heading south for
Lilo-an and Negros, there are regular Ceres Liner buses,
or you can arrange a van through one of the resorts
(P1500).
By taxi
A quicker option than the public buses is to
negotiate a rate with a Cebu taxi - P2000-2500 is a
reasonable price to Moalboal.

Services
Moalboal now has an ATM which accepts foreign
cards in the 360 Pharmacy, though it's still best to bring
enough cash with you. There's a moneychanger by the
police station.
Activities
To get away from the dive scene and explore the
wild hinterlands of western Cebu, head for Planet Action
Adventure (

(see below). Jochen and Jinky can
organize caving, trekking, canyoning and mountain-biking
trips, and rent out mountain bikes (P300-700/day).
