MEDICAL SERVICES
Moloka'i is a small place with a small population, so there is not as much available here
in the way of medical treatment as on Maui or the other larger islands. Moloka'i General
Hospital (808/553-5331) is at the end of Home' Olu Street just above Ala Malama Avenue
in Kaunakakai, and there are half a dozen doctors on the island and half as many dentists.
For prescription drugs, first-aid items, potions, lotions, and sundries, try Moloka'i
Drugs (808/553-5790, 8:45am-5:45pm Mon.-Fri., 8:45am-2pm Sat.) in the Kamoi Profes-
sional Center, one block off the main drag in Kaunakakai.
