STAND-UP PADDLING THE MALIKO RUN
Paddlers race to the finish line of the famous Maliko Run.
Unless you're a world-class waterman, don't try the Maliko Run. In the same way
that Jaws isn't a surf break that is accessible to visiting surfers, however, it's still
interesting to know that it's there.
While most people paddle along flat, calm waters somewhere on the island's
south shore, a different subgenre of the sport gets going as the wind gets stronger.
“Downwinders” paddle with the breeze at their backs and ride the waves created by
