the parking lot along Waipuilani Road.
While the Waipuilani courts are more popular with visitors, the four courts at
Kalama
Park
are where most of Kihei locals play. The surroundings aren't quite as nice as at
Waipuilani, but the courts are lit at night and more protected from the wind. Local junior
tennis programs frequently operate here in the afternoons, so morning hours or evenings
are best for finding an open court. The Kalama courts are on the far north end of Kalama
Park behind the public basketball court and across the street from the Kukui Mall.
