BANKS
Kahului
Kahului has numerous banks with ATMs, and the majority are near the intersection of
Ka'ahumanu and Pu'unene Avenues. There are two Bank of Hawaii branches (27 S.
P'unene Ave., 808/871-8250, 8:30am-4pm Mon.-Thurs., 8:30am-6pm Fri.; Maui Market-
place, 808/871-8260, 8:30am-4pm Mon.-Thurs., 8:30am-6pm Fri., 9am-1pm Sat.); a First
Hawaiian Bank (20 W. Ka'ahumanu Ave., 808/877-2311, 8:30am-4pm Mon.-Thurs.,
8:30am-6pm Fri., 9am-1pm Sat.); an American Savings Bank (73 Pu'unene Ave., 808/
871-8411, 8am-5pm Mon.-Thurs., 8am-6pm Fri., 9am-1pm Sat.), and a Central Pacific
Bank (85 W. Ka'ahumanu Ave., 808/877-3387, 8:30am-4pm Mon.-Thurs., 8:30am-6pm

Wailuku
For banking in Wailuku there are a Bank of Hawaii (2105 Main, 808/243-8268,
8:30am-4pm Mon.-Thurs., 8:30am-6pm Fri.) across the street from Giannotto's Pizza and
an American Savings Bank (69 N. Market St., 808/244-9148, 8am-4pm Mon.-Thurs.,
8am-6pm Fri.) across the street from Wailuku Coffee Company.
GAS
There are gas stations at most major intersections throughout Kahului and Wailuku, al-
though Costco (540 Haleakala Hwy., 808/877-5248) will offer gas which is usually
$0.20-0.40/gallon cheaper than everywhere else. There are no gas stations once you turn
onto Waiehu Beach Road and head toward Kahakuloa.
POST OFFICE
Kahului
The Kahului post office is across the street from Walgreen's Pharmacy (138 S. Pu'unene
Ave., 800/275-8777, 8:30am-4pm Mon.-Fri., 9am-noon Sat.).
Wailuku
The Wailuku post office is down in the Millyard area of Wailuku (250 Imi Kala St., 808/
244-1653, 9am-4pm Mon.-Fri., 9am-noon Sat.).
