For those who can't imagine a vacation that doesn't involve a WOD, the local CrossFit
box is at Lahaina CrossFit (219 Kupuohi St., 808/286-9422, www.lahainacrossfit.com ,
closed Sun.). Those who are already familiar with CrossFit will feel right at home with the
short, intense regimens. Single sessions are $20; $55 gets a weekly pass. Classes begin as
early as 6am and run through the day until 6pm.
For yoga workouts, even though downtown Lahaina can be hot enough during summer
to be an outdoor Bikram studio, locals nevertheless flock to Island Spirit Yoga (840
Waine'e St., 808/667-2111, www.islandspirityoga.com ) behind the Ace Hardware a block
back from Front Street for their daily dose of stretching, breathing, and asana. Single
sessions are $17, or you can get a five-class pass for $65. Classes are normally held
throughout the morning hours and later in the evenings. A full list of offerings and times

Bikram Yoga Lahaina (845 Waine'e St., 808/661-6828, www.bikramyogalahaina.net )
in the Foodland shopping center offers single-session classes for $20 and an unlimited
weekly pass for $50. The studio is on the second floor above Nagasako General Store, has
classes as early as 6:30am on Tuesday and Thursday and a variety of class times during
the rest of the week.
SPAS
While the following spa and massage services are broken down by their geographic loc-
ation, if you would rather enjoy an in-room, mobile massage service regardless of where
you're staying, Na Ali'i Massage (808/250-7170, www.mymauimassage.com ) will meet
you anywhere on the West Side and offers rates which are much lower than the resorts or
local massage parlors. A 60-minute massage is $85, and they also offer a full range of oth-
er services such as body scrubs, reflexology, and hand and foot treatments.
Kapalua, Napili, and Honokowai
Just like its workout facility, the Kapalua Spa (100 Bay Dr., 808/665-8282,
www.kapaluaspa.com , 9am-7pm daily) has the best spa services on the northwestern side
of the island. This spa has been voted as the best luxury destination spa in the United
States. This truly is a luxurious wellness retreat unlike any other, incorporating elements
of native Hawaiian culture into the treatments for an experience you won't find at smaller,
more affordable spas. When your treatment is through, you are welcome to linger and use
the spa facilities or sit by the edge of the edgeless pool and listen to the waves lap in the
