As shown in Figure 8, packet losses (due to
both buffer overflow and collision phenomena)
are almost constant with respect to the HELLO
interval in the cases of both the QBAR and AODV
routing protocols. This is due to the extremely high
network dynamic and high number of nodes that
allow the recasting of new paths to node 7. Any-
way, the losses for the QBAR protocol are smaller
than those of AODV because the load balancing
strategy reduces overflow and collision losses.
