of mobile telephones as well as the continuous
improvement in their capability, however, this
work has presented a mobile phone-based dis-
ease diagnosis system to cater for the needs of
the vast majority of mobile phone users who are
not computer literate, or lack access because of
economic reasons. This will augment the provi-
sion of healthcare services in this part of the world
where it is inadequate.
