TELEMEDICINE WEB APPLICATIONS
User can see the graph or chart (Figure 10) of
the vital signs of his body in the “Graph” page of
the website. In this page, he will find the time in
“X” coordinate and the corresponding captured
data in “Y” coordinate. There is an option avail-
able for the users to see both the heart rate and
oxygen saturation plotting either both of them at
a time or any one of them at a time. In the “Google
Map” page user can see the location of captured
data with a pointer (Figure 11) like a balloon. If
he clicks on the balloon, he will find the informa-
tion of the user's phone number, date, time, loca-
tion temperature and the data. These will help us
to study a patient's physical condition in different
environments.
Our system has been tested on a number of
people and they have found it very useful. The
proposed system benefits both the users who need
regular physical check up and the physicians who
need to monitor their patients' health condition
remotely. It also opens some research opportuni-
ties for researchers.
The Telemedicine Web application software is
simple in both design and user perspective. The
purpose of this application is to provide users to
see and generate reports of the data. One has to
log in to see this data. Data collected from the
sensor along with user's phone number, date,
time, latitude and longitude, location temperature
can be seen by doctors and users after logging
on to the Telemedicine site. The doctor can see
patient's health condition according to date and
time in the Report Grid view (Figure 7). He has
the option to search for any desired information
of a particular date and time, latitude, longitude
and temperature as well as of any selected range
of date and time, latitude and longitude in the
section “Report Filter” (Figure 8). The doctor can
also generate Excel report from it and print it out.
He can also put his comments in “Comments”
section (Figure 9).
