Oracle service Registry installation
The installation is simple, as shown in the preceding screenshot (steps 1 , 2 , and 3 for
training purposes). You do not have to create a separate WLS domain and install it on the
existing OER domain. Just assign a different port for the console (we use 7201 as you can
see in the next screenshot, step 1 ). To get a better understanding of Oracle's approach to
the tModels' implementation, include the demo data installation during the DB selection
step. Upon browsing the DB schema, you will find that the internal DB tables' structure is
clearly built around the UDDI taxonomy—there are dedicated tables for Busi-
nessEntity , BusinessService , and BindingTemplate .
For each table, maintain separate bags for categories and identities containing references
to tModels registered in the related table. Despite this model's simplicity, there are many
additional service tables grouped in the service domains, as follows:
• Approval
• Access control
• Replication
• Events Reporting
