Here, we present the part of Invoice XSD specific to a Telecom PIP pack. It has the fol-
lowing characteristics:
• Represents the business concept of an invoice
• Defined using inputs from multiple applications and content standards
• Common service payload used by all applications
• Designed for extensibility
This is a perfect example of AIA's service contract standardization, and in this case, of
data model canonicalization.

EBM
) represents the specific content of an EBO
needed to perform a specific activity. For instance, in order to create an invoice, we may
not require complete information about that invoice. So, EBM is the operational and trans-
portational form of EBO.
