Mind-mapping software is used when
brainstorming a game idea or concept. You can find free or paid for
mind-mapping software via the Internet. If you think of a tree root, it
has many branches; this is what a mind map looks like. Using a mind
map, you can connect ideas. It can be the whole game or parts of the
game. For example, you could create a tree for a particular game feature
such as weapons, or for characters of a particular type, such as
