In most MMOs, these buffs are given fancier names such as Elemental Damage.
You can see the default screen for the abilities in Figure 8.15.

The abilities screen has the following setup:
n Abilities tree : Lists all of the available abilities.
n New Ability button : Creates a new ability.
n Delete Ability button : Deletes the currently selected ability.
n Require abilities to be memorised check box: Requires the players
to memorize the spell before using. This will allow you to set up a
limited number of slots for which abilities can be used at any one time.
n Rename this ability : Renames the current selected ability.
n Description : Holds a description of the ability.
n Thumbnail texture : A small image used to represent the ability.
n Recharge time : Shows how long the players have to wait before they can
reuse the ability.
n Ability is exclusive to this race : Indicates whether this ability is
restricted to a particular race.
