n Add Music button: Allows you to add music to your project.
n Manage Shaders and Profiles button: You can manage any graphics
shaders and their respective profiles. This will allow you to apply graphi-
cal effects to your media.
n Media Tree: Displays all of the meshes, textures, sounds, and music
within your project in a tree-like structure. You can expand any tab by
clicking on the + sign and collapse it using the
sign.
n Preview screen: The Preview screen by default displays a blue back-
ground, but when you add 3D content, it will display the content. It will
also display a Play button for music and sound so you can listen to it.

Every item added to the project is given an ID; every item is unique and has its own ID number. This
means that even if you add two items that are exactly the same, Realm Crafter treats them as
different objects.
To give you a better understanding of how you view and interact with the
various options, the next sections look at some of the media in more detail.
Viewing a Mesh
Follow these steps to look at a typical mesh in the Media tab:
1. Click on the + sign next to the Meshes text on the Media Tree. This will
expand the Meshes item and display any items or folders under it.
2. Expand the Actors group.
3. Expand the Lizardman group.
4. You will see two items within this folder; the first is an animated lizard-
man and the second is an animated lizardman with armor mesh.
5. Click on either of the items to display the mesh of the object in the pre-
view window, as shown in Figure 7.4.
Some media types also have a set of extra options associated with them; in the
case of meshes, you will see a set of additional options shown in Figure 7.5.
