10.4 CONCLUSION
The study has shown that the use of metal complexes of tetrapyrrolic macrocycles
adsorbed as premonolayer on silica at the equilibrium conditions are the most effec-
tive. Nature of the metal complex has a significant influence on the coordination of
pigment to the substrate. Phthalocyanine complexes with Al, Zn, and Chl adsorbed on
silica can be used in bioorganic chemistry, materials science, to create artificial models
of photosynthesis and other chemical-technological processes as efficient catalysts for
the decomposition of H 2 O 2 .
