Seoul Station
Seoul station is the hub of the domestic rail network operated by
Korean National Rail-
many travel agents, as well as at train stations or online. Booking ahead is advised. If you
plan to travel by train a lot over a short period, consider buying a 'KR pass' (see the web-
site for details).
The fastest train is the KTX (Korea Train Express). A grade down are
saemaeul
ser-
vices, which also only stop in major towns.
Mugunghwa
trains are also comfortable and
fast, but stop more often.
Bus & Taxi
City buses and taxis depart from the east side of the station.
Subway
Lines 1 and 4 connect Seoul station with the city.
Yongsan Station
Some long-distance trains from the south of Korea terminate at Yongsan station (

); many others pass through on their way to Seoul station.
