Daijangjangi means blacksmith and that is exactly what the owner Lee Jae-Sung is. Some
of his metal creations adorn the quirky interior of this hanok turned pizzeria, along with
Lee's epic LP collection. The pizza is authentic and the service friendly.

or on chairs on the narrow balcony to enjoy an excellent multi- course meal for 22,000
that includes bulgogi . The gujeolpan is a speciality with pink radish wraps, as is the pa-
jeon and the sprouty version of bibimbap . A bit of a walk from the subway but you'll
need some exercise after this generous Korean feast.

no-nonsense restaurant that's famous for its sujebi, big dough flakes in a mild soup of
sliced vegetables and shellfish. Dongdongju (fermented rice wine) goes well with the
meal - in fact, for some diners the sujebi is just an excuse to enjoy some dongdongju .

Best Place in Seoul' a tiny tea and dessert cafe, since it opened in 1976. Apart from the
medicinal teas they serve wonderful thick danpatjuk, red-bean porridge with ginseng,
chestnut and peanuts.
