24-Hour Spas
The best jjimjil-bang offer a variety of baths (maybe green tea or ginseng) and saunas
(mugwort, pine or jade). Men and women are always separate in the bath area, but saunas,
napping rooms and other facilities may be mixed; in these areas wear the robes or shorts
and T-shirts provided. Most spas are open 24 hours. Basic entry fee covers up to 12 hours
of unlimited use of all the baths and saunas; treatments like body scrubs cost extra.
Baseball & Golf Practice
You'll find baseball hitting practice nets in several areas including Insa-dong. Private golf
courses are usually for members only, but there are driving ranges in top-end hotels and
elsewhere including Gangnam.
Cycling
Cycleways run along both sides of the Han River past sports fields and picnic areas; there
are plenty of bike hire stalls (per hr ₩3000;
9am-8.30pm Mar-Nov) . Bring your own padlock,
and leave a driving licence or other ID.
