Mixing of fuels and oxidizer is among the key issues to attain high-combustion
ef
ciency for decreasing soot and CO emission. In this research, Mixing conditions
was monitored by PLIF measurements of OH and OD. Figure 8 shows the sche-
matic diagram of the PLIF system utilizing isotope effect. The PLIF system is a
commercially available conventional apparatus. For monitoring the mixing condi-
tion, heavy water (D 2 O) steam is introduced in the air
