When to Go
In the USVI, 10- to 15-knot easterly trade winds in spring offer ideal diving conditions.
Summer is the best time dive the north-shore sites, since these can be affected by strong
swells and wind in winter.
In the BVI the strongest winds blow from November to April making some northwest dive
sites inaccessible. The southwest, where many top sites are, is more protected.
Water is generally clearest from April to August.
