resort's main restaurant, featuring gourmet West Indian and continental cuisine served on
German china alongside fine wines in Italian crystal. There's a dress code for dinner: no
coats and ties, but trousers and collared shirts are required.
Getting There & Away
The PeterIslandFerry( 284-495-2000;round-trip$20,freeforrestaurantcustom-
ers) departs from the CSY dock at Baughers Bay in Road Town. It makes the 30-minute
trip six times daily; call for the times. To get to the dock, follow Waterfront Dr past Wick-
hams Cay 2 to Blackburn Rd. Guests staying overnight can make arrangements for pick up
at Tortola's Trellis Bay/Beef Island or from Charlotte Amalie on St Thomas.

Best site for experienced divers
The Chikuzen (a 250ft wreck north of Tortola) is great if you're looking for an out-
of-the-ordinary dive. It's an attraction for big animals, like reef, bull and lemon
sharks, and unique critters.
Best site for newbie divers
Ginger Island and Cooper Island have wonderfully protected sites with colorful reefs
at moderate depths.
