you see the purple, green and turquoise buildings splashed up the hillside, you'll know
you've arrived at Leverick Bay, located on North Sound near Gun Creek. The resort mixes
hotel, condo and villa accommodations; the 14 hotel rooms are the best deal. Each has two
double beds, rattan furnishings, free wi-fi and a private balcony. Then there's the access
you have to the beach, marina, tennis court, dive shop, spa, market, internet cafe - oh, and
the popular restaurant, too.
Bitter End Yacht Club & Resort HOTEL $$$

) This all-inclusive resort at the east end of North Sound has 85 hillside villas adorned with
batik bedspreads and teak floors. Some villas have hammocks, wrap-around verandahs and
are open to the trade winds, others have air-con and decks and none have TVs. Rates in-
clude three meals a day and unlimited use of the resort's bountiful equipment for sailing,
windsurfing, kayaking and much more. It's a great place for active couples or families who
like to spend their days on the water. Children are well catered to with sailing, snorkeling
and crafts classes. Wi-fi is available in the public areas only.
Saba Rock Resort HOTEL $$

) On a fleck of island just offshore from Bitter End Yacht Club, Saba Rock Resort is
a charismatic boutique hotel with eight rooms, a restaurant and a bar. It's the most laid-
back place to get your North Sound resort experience, catering largely to boaters who want
a reasonably priced night off their vessel. It's nothing fancy, but nice touches include the
free breakfast, free wi-fi and private balconies. A free water shuttle ferries guests here from
Gun Creek or Bitter End (call Saba to arrange a pickup).
