In-Depth Information
are large, one-bedroom suites contained in a four-unit villa. Bodyboards, kayaks and fish-
ing rods are available to guests for free (though note that the water can have a strong un-
dertow during winter months), and there's a large pool with a swim-up bar. Alas, the resort
has experienced some hard times and ownership changes of late, so how it evolves remains
to be seen. The restaurant recently closed, which means you'll have to travel a fair distance
for meals.
FIREBALL FULL MOON PARTY
Aragorn's Studio and the Trellis Bay Kitchen combine to put on the Trellis Bay Full
Moon Party( www.windsurfing.vi/fullmoon.htm ) , which is the artsy, family-
friendly alternative to Bomba's raucous event ( Click here ). The party kicks off
around 7pm with fungi music, stilt walkers and fire jugglers. At 9pm Aragorn sets
his steel 'fireball sculptures' ablaze on the ocean - a must-see.
Eating
Any of the Trellis Bay eateries are good places to hang out if you're waiting for a flight or
a boat.
