keet is the poolside restaurant-bar at the Heritage Inn ( Click here ), whose claim to fame is
the sweet sunset view from atop the hill. Return diners praise the coconut shrimp, jerk pork
tenderloins with banana chutney and lamb chops. If nothing else, pop in for a happy hour
drink from 4pm to 6pm. It offers a free shot at sunset.
North Shore Shell Museum Bar & Restaurant WEST

mix of folk art gallery and eatery, owned by Egbert Donovan, specializes in delicious big
breakfasts (pancakes are a specialty) and grilled fish dinners. The staff often lead the pat-
rons in making fungi music by blowing and banging on conch shells. You might want to
call before coming, as hours can be erratic.
Rhymer's BURGERS, SEAFOOD $$

Beachside Rhymer's (attached to the eponymous hotel) caters to the crews off yachts who
are sick of cooking aboard. The dinner menu includes fish, ribs and conch, but breakfast
is the big attraction, when folks stuff their face with eggs, French toast and bacon. The bar
draws beachgoers seeking refreshment.
Elm Beach Bar BURGERS, SEAFOOD $$

the smallest and perhaps the most welcoming of all the beachfront eateries on Cane Garden
Bay. Try the fruit platters or get the BBQ ribs with Jamaican festival sauce and coconut
curried rice.
Stanley's Welcome Bar BURGERS, SEAFOOD $$
( 284-495-9424; Cane Garden Bay; mains $15-35; lunch & dinner) On the
beach as well, Stanley's has been popular with yacht crews and surfers for years. It is a
cheeseburger-in-paradise kind of place that also serves pasta, salads, fresh fish, steak and
lobster.
