Sun, closed Tue) Eat @ Cane Bay lets the good times roll with 'food shots' - bite-sized
gourmet servings of fare such as smoked duck potpie. Located across from Cane Bay
Beach, the restaurant also cooks burgers that are a cut above the norm. Other delicious
items on the menu include slow-roasted pulled pork and brisket, along with wine and Bel-
gian beers. The Sunday reggae brunch features eggs benedict, crepes and bananas Foster
pancakes among the lineup.

diving at Cane Bay, climb out of the ocean and head to the beach's east end, where this
open-air pub serves burgers, nachos and quesadillas to a happy crowd of drinkers.
Breezez INTERNATIONAL $$

Croix, a mile west of Christiansted, Breezez is a popular lunching place for folks spending
the day at Hibiscus Beach. The poolside operation serves up burgers and a popular Sunday
brunch.
Frederiksted
Except for about every third day when a cruise ship arrives, Frederiksted looks the part of
a classic Caribbean outpost - a motionless village of colonial buildings snoozing beside a
painted teal-blue sea. Though it's quiet much of the time, St Croix's second-banana town is
worth a visit to see its first-rate collection of Victorian colonial architecture, and to join its
tour operators for cool cycling, snorkeling and diving trips. The jazzy little spot also hosts
a vibrant gay community.
