steamy, four-table joint also serves shrimp, conch, goat, turkey and tofu stews - all while
island music ricochets off the pastel walls. The best deal is to ask for a 'plate' and point
to the items in the display case that you want, and staff will heap it on. Singh's caters to a
constant flow of locals for takeaway.

pour strong coffee and fruity smoothies at this wee cafe overlooking the fort and harbor.
The granola-and-yogurt wins raves for breakfast, while the wraps (spicy tuna, tofu or avo-
cado) make a delicious lunch or Buck Island picnic fare. It's in the King Christian Hotel
arcade.
Kendrick's INTERNATIONAL $$$

Sat) Chef David Kendrick's award-winning restaurant has long set the standard for Cruzan
gourmands. You can sit inside the colonial cottage or eat in the courtyard. Fork into grilled
rack of lamb or fettuccine with lobster medallions, or go for something lighter off the bar
menu, like lobster nachos or barbecue tuna tacos.
Tutto Bene ITALIAN $$

$20-33; dinner) There's no West Indian ambience and no ocean view, but that's not the
point at Tutto Bene. It stands apart by cooking traditional Italian food that will rock your
world. Generous portions of fish, chicken and meat mains and creative pasta dishes are
served in a sophisticated yet casual room. It's located 0.5 miles east of town in the Board-
walk Building by Gallows Bay.
Kim's Restaurant WEST INDIAN $$
