partures are from the dock in front of Rum Runners restaurant in downtown Christiansted.

Hiking
Hikers will love the guided eco-walks available. They depart from sites around the island.

herbalist Ras Lumumba offers tours to Maroon Ridge, Annaly Bay, Salt River Bay and
more. Most treks take three to four hours and cost $50 to $60 per person; some trips are
strenuous. Contact him for the schedule.

Olasee Davis is an ecologist at the University of the Virgin Islands and a tour leader
with St Croix Hiking Association( www.stcroixhiking.org ) . He's a lifelong Virgin
