Hiking
The Lind Point and Caneel Hill Trails are the main ones accessible from Cruz Bay. For trail

Park rangers provide guided walks several days per week. Check with the visitors cen-
ter( www.nps.gov/viis ) for the schedule.
The nonprofit group Friends of the Virgin Islands National Park
( www.friendsvinp.org ) also provides occasional guided hiking trips around the island. It
offers a slew of other activities, too, including sailing and snorkel trips, cooking, paint-
ing, jewelry-making and West African drumming workshops. Activities occur two or three
times weekly; costs range from $25 to $85.
Cycling
Kayak operator Arawak Expeditions ( 340-693-8312, 800-238-8687;
www.arawakexp.com ; Mongoose Junction; half/full day $50/90) also provides guided
cycling tours of remote areas of the national park, with swimming breaks at the beach built
in.
Fishing
