LowKeyWatersports( 340-693-8999 www.divelowkey.com ;WharfsideVillage;
8am-6pm) This is a great dive-training facility and has some of the most experienced in-
structors in the islands. It offers wreck dives to the General Rogers and the RMS Rhone,
as well as night dives and dive packages. It also has dinghy rentals and powerboat rentals.
Trips to the BVI go to either the Baths ($135 plus customs fee) or Jost Van Dyke ($110
plus customs fee).
Cruz Bay Watersports ( 340-776-6234; www.divestjohn.com ; Lumberyard;
8am-6pm) It's located behind the Lumberyard, with another outlet at the Westin Resort.
The half-day snorkel trips visit two different cays ($60 per person). Full-day trips go to Jost
Van Dyke ($99, plus $25 BVI customs fee) or the Baths on Virgin Gorda ($130, plus $25
customs fee). These folk likewise rent dinghies.
Kayaking
Even though some of these guided paddling expeditions do not depart from Cruz Bay,
we're listing them here so you can see the island's best options at a glance.
Arawak Expeditions ( 340-693-8312, 800-238-8687; www.arawakexp.com ; Mon-
goose Junction; half/full day tours $65/110) Offers tours that depart from Cruz Bay and
paddle over to Henley Cay and Lovango Cay for snorkeling; you must supply your own
snorkel gear.
Hidden Reef Eco-Tours ( 877-529-2575; www.hiddenreefecotours.com ; 3hr/5hr
tours $65/115) Departs from Haulover Bay at the island's more remote East End; snorkel
gear is included. Also offers night paddles.
VI Eco-Tours ( 340-779-2155, 877-845-2925; www.viecotours.com ; 3hr tours $99)
Offers a tour that combines paddling with snorkeling and hiking around Caneel Bay, and
another tour that includes photography lessons with a paddling-snorkeling trip at Coral Bay
on the East End.
Boat Trips
