Renting a car is definitely the easiest way for families to get around. Both the US and Brit-
ish Virgin Islands require all passengers in private cars to wear seat belts, and children un-
der age five must be in a car seat. In actuality, the law is rarely enforced. If you're not trav-
eling with your own car seats, most car-rental firms provide them for about $10 per day.
