Hungry gap
matures it may be growing in the 'wrong' bed - but in fact this doesn't
matter. Just make sure that long-occupancy plants (most particularly the brassi-
cas) are moved to new ground once a year, to avoid the build-up of soil pests
such as club root. And above all, have fun! Experimentation is the essence of
gardening, and there is nowhere you can grow that will give you more leeway
than your polytunnel.
