liquid-phase methods in terms of higher product yield, better selectivity,
shorter reaction time and simpler work-up procedure have been highlighted.
Beyond their fundamental importance, the results reported in this chapter
may have substantial practical implications because ball milling oxidation/
reduction is in most cases scalable up to production scale and therefore
suitable for industrial applications.
