Habitat and Ecology
Commonly found in dry season and is to be
sought for among long grass. Aestivating adults
commonly found in thick forest from October
to April amidst dry vegetation. Nothing known
about its breeding habitat, presumably ponds
and similar habitats, including intermittent
ones.
Tiger Reserve and Wardha dist.), Meghalaya,
Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand (Dehra Dun, Nainital
and Pauri dist.), Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal
(Jalpaiguri), Western Ghats and Western Himalaya.

Description
Medium-sized brick-red damselfl y with black-
banded wings.
