Description
Medium-sized bright red dragonfl y with amber
or reddish-yellow wing base, thorax and abdo-
men bright vermilion red, a broad basal bright
reddish-yellow marking on all wings, pterostigma
black with a narrow red stripe at its middle, vena-
tion yellow.
Male: Bright red.
Abdomen 21.0-24.0, hindwing 24.0-27.0 mm

Description
Yellowish-brown medium sized with long, spid-
erlike legs, thorax with three black stripes on
each side and black underside of abdomen. Male
and female having similar markings.
Male: Metallic purple.
