Habitat
Usually found in pools, pans, marshes and quite
reaches of rivers where it can perch on reeds or
tall grass in hilly areas and is tolerant of distur-
bance. Breeds in small ponds and marshy areas
with dense reed vegetation.

Description
Small-sized blue dragonfl y with pale blue face,
eyes blue/glossy brown spotted with black,
thorax azure-blue, bulged abdomen azure-blue
with black stripe above, wings transparent,
pterostigma pale yellow and legs black with
yellow.
