in a neat garden on the beach facing Nosy Sakatia. Some of the bungalows have their own
kitchenettes, and there's a small restaurant/bar serving mostly seafood. Activities include
sailing trips and boat rentals. Diving and island excursions can be arranged. There is snor-
kelling nearby.

little hotel and restaurant owned by a French and Malagasy couple. It's an unusual struc-
ture, with two separate wings joined under one big thatched roof to form a dining room.
Abodes are small, but pretty, with firm mattresses and high-quality linens. The hotel is
about 200m from beautiful Andilana beach.

bungalows in the village of Ambondrona. It's a little cramped and overpriced for the com-
fort level, but you won't find cheaper this close to the beach (a mere 50m). There's also a

pétanque

game similar to bowls or bocce). To get here, turn at the Manga Be signpost from the main
road, take a sharp right after the railway track and follow the sign to 'Snack Flo'; turn left
when you get to Snack Flo.
