Ar83,000-100,000; ) These twin business hotels, the result of a recent expansion,
form a complex that includes an iffy restaurant (mains Ar5000 to Ar13,000), internet
centre, low-key pizzeria and cheery staff. The newer Zomatel 2 is pricier but has surpris-
ingly sophisticated modern rooms, with lots of light, great design and super beds. There's
a nice indoor pool, too. English spoken.

62,000/ 72,000/87,000; ) Here's a strange one: an enormous Chinese cruise ship sail-
ing through Fianar. At least that's what it feels like. There's a large swimming pool, a vast
restaurant (mains from Ar7000), a travel agency, a disco and an arcade of shops, linked by
pagoda walkways. Labyrinthine corridors lead to strange rooms with gilt trim and enorm-
ous baths; Room No 112 could hold a Great Wall bus tour. Standard doubles are cheap as
take-away, however, so how can you not love it?

value for money. The cosy restaurant is a great place for afternoon dining (mains from
Ar7500), with a log fire and good pizzas and crêpes.

guesthouse with a dose of familial chaos. There are just four rustic rooms, unfortunately
with saggy mattresses, and a cosy restaurant (mains from Ar6000) and bar.
