Dear
In accordance with supplemental provision Schedule 2, paragraph 2.1.1, we
have attempted to enter into a sub-contract with [

in the Employer's Requirements at [

].
Our efforts have been unsuccessful, because [

] and we should be
pleased if you would operate the provisions of paragraph 2.1.2 and either:
1.
Issue a change instruction to amend the item in the Employer's
Requirements so that we can enter into the sub-contract; or
2.
Issue a change instruction to omit the named sub-contract work and issue
further instructions about the carrying out of that work.
