This letter is not suitable for use with DB.

We have found what appears to be a divergence between statutory
requirements and your drawing/detail/schedule/bills of
quantities/specification [ delete as appropriate and add number of drawing, page
and item number of bills of quantities etc. ] as follows:

Please let us have your instruction by [ insert date - note that SBC, IC and ICD
allow the architect 7 days from receipt of the notice to respond with an instruction. So
far as MW and MWD are concerned, insert a reasonable date. ]. Failure to issue your
instruction by that date will result in delay and disruption to the Works for
which we will seek appropriate financial recompense.
