As we can see, because all the Dudes are at the same distance and using the
same weapon, their threat ratios are very similar. The difference comes from two
factors. First, the differences in their accuracy rates adjusts how much damage they
can do to us. Boss Man will be a little more dangerous to us, and Baddie will be
slightly less so.
Second, the different types of Dudes have different amounts of health (50, 75,
and 100). This makes a significant difference in how long it takes us to kill them.
This yields an interesting result. Notice that killing the lowly Baddie is the second-
most-preferable option. Despite the fact that Baddie is a less dangerous attacker,
because of his lower health, we can kill him quickly. The difference is small, but in
such a similar situation as this, we might as well get him out of the picture. In this
situation, though, our algorithm suggests that killing an Evil Dude (in this case, Mr.
Evilmeister) is our best bet. Also, given the distance, our trusty algorithm informs
us that our best choice is the machine gun.
